WHAT HAS JOHN DONE?
![]() |
John, now happily divorced and based near Spalding in Lincolnshire, has been featured in several academic studies of the relationship between eccentricity & creativity and, over the last 30 years, has appeared on network TV shows worldwide, including Australia Japan, New Zealand, South America and the USA (coast-to-coast on Today Live). Worldwide newspaper and magazine coverage has included features in the UK's Times, Express, Guardian, Sun and Mirror and, in the US, the New York Times, Readers' Digest and Time magazine. The new book Wierd England features him prominently. He helped launch the Ford Focus car at the UK's premier Motor Show in Birmingham, appeared live on NBC's Good Morning America to inform the US public of his electronic bra-warmer and flew to Dublin to expound his zany ideas on the top-rating Gerry Ryan Tonight programme. Japanese television sent a camera crew all the way to his home in rural England to film him building some of his outrageous creations. Recent projects include designing two new Malcolm Hardee Awards for comedy, which will be presented annually at the Edinburgh Fringe until 2017. |
