The Story

Helen loves space rockets. She brings their story to life with a fusion of stand-up comedy and tinfoil in her debut solo show - a celebration of stargazing, space stamp collecting and the boundless possibilities of an infinite universe.

The epic sweep of mankind's journey up, up into space exactly and conveniently mirrors her own journey from awkward, lowly and mute daughter of a Yorkshire postman up, up into la-di-da stand-up comedian who sometimes addresses literally 19 people in pub function rooms.

Well, it kind of does... With Space Nazis! Satanists! And Aeronautical Engineers! IT IS ROCKET SCIENCE! takes you on a whistlestop tour around the Great Brains who put monkeys, ladies, dogs and gentlemen into orbit.
