Comedy industry chats and more
with critic Kate Copstick
and blogger John Fleming

LIVE IN LONDON

In August 2016, The Scotsman newspaper wrote of the Grouchy Club's northern incarnation that it was "a talking shop for comics riding the emotional rollercoaster of the Edinburgh Fringe."

As in Edinburgh, so in London...

These are not shows where the audience sits and watches. They are aimed at people in showbiz and the media who want to come along, chat about the comedy business and anything else that comes up. A real chat show meeting. A chance to interact with the doyenne of British comedy critics and some fat, slaphead comedy blogger. We are open to anything including occasional live comedy performances.

The monthly live Grouchy Club meet-ups in London are held in the performance space at the back of Kate Copstick's Mama Biashara charity shop in Shepherd's Bush, London. Anyone can come. Entry is free. Exit is free. Start time is 6.30pm.

Tuesday 11th October
Tuesday 8th November
Tuesday 13th December

The Mama Biashara shop is in the West 12 Shopping Centre in Shepherd's Bush, London W12 8PP, on south side of Shepherd's Bush Green opposite Shepherd's Bush station (NOT the Westfield shopping centre, which is on the north side!). Shepherds Bush station is on the Overground and on the Central Line of the London Underground. Mama Biashara is opposite the back end of Morrison's supermarket.
